My wonderful assistant (and coincidentally, sister ;) ) shot this beautiful birthday session at the fabulous "Reef" in Long Beach, CA.  Renita threw a mardi-gras themed celebration for her 40th birthday.   What better way to celebrate than this?

I have to admit that shooting maternity sessions is amongst my favorites... There is something so special about this time in a family's life, and I love when I am given the opportunity to capture these moments.

Ochie had me capture these photos at what I believe is the perfect time... Still small enough to be comfortable and at ease, yet the belly is still a nice, "photo-ready" size! :)

You & Me Photography Promotion!

Just in time for mother's day, father's day, and graduation season!

You & Me Photography is having a special for "mini-sessions", a portrait session that can be used for children, families, couples/engagements, headshots, pets or anything your heart desires!

Sessions are 30 minutes long and you will receive all high resolution, edited shots (about 30-40 photos) on a disc ready to be printed at any place of your choice and shared with everyone you love!

Jess & Shelby | Valentine's Day Shoot | Palos Verdes, CA

After what seems to be YEARS of planning photoshoots together, my good friend Jess and I finally set out to take some mommy/daughter photos! Jess has been my #1 fan since day one, and I once took some quickie shots of her and Shelby long long ago when I was first starting out! Today was a beautiful February day and the weather was perfect for photos. We headed out to the Rocketship Park in Palos Verdes...

I went crazy at Wal-Mart the other day and bought all kinds of pink and red and heart-shaped things, and couldn't think of anything better than a valentine's day photoshoot to put them to use. Check out these adorable photos!
